About Us
When we evaluate a child, we look at the whole child’s system from their nervous system maturation, life style, diet to family dynamic. The child’s neurological foundation and development is the cornerstone of our approach. Our therapists are trained in multiple therapy techniques and we offer a blended treatment approach in order to meet the individual needs of the child. We work in a collaborative manner, with weekly team meetings on client treatment plans, so that each child receives the benefit of everyone’s training and experience. This is also to ensure that the child receives a continuous treatment plan, no matter which therapist he/she sees.
We have a strong focus on professional development. We regularly invite Level II students of occupational therapy to complete their clinical fieldwork placement at our clinic. We also coordinate professional development courses, such as the Yoga for the Special Child Basic Certification Course.
We apply the keys of love, patience, connection, trust and fearlessness in our approach. Our aim is to cultivate an environment of peace, joy and love: where families will reach their optimal potential and be confident about their future. We view the whole family as an inseparable dynamic system. When parents are calm, happy and hopeful, they can influence their children’s behaviors profoundly.
