Alex has been practicing occupational therapy with children for the past 14 years. She has worked in a variety of settings including private clinics, hospitals, and interdisciplinary programs, primarily with preschool and school-aged children. Alex is certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test, has extensive training in the treatment of sensory processing disorder and is an advanced iLs practitioner. Alex is a DIR certified therapist, which she feels is a wonderful tool to help therapists and caregivers understand each child’s unique developmental and sensory-motor profile to guide intervention within the context of nurturing and loving relationships. Alex’s passion in therapy is to help children and parents feel regulated, engaged and understood, while challenging them to grow in their social, emotional and physical development.
