What is feeding therapy?
Pediatric feeding therapy helps children develop normal eating behaviors and skills. The goal is to make mealtimes more enjoyable and nutritious, and to help children eat a variety of foods.
Feeding therapy can help children who may need help learning how to eat and drink if they have developmental delays or children with sensory aversion who may have negative reactions around eating or cover their mouth or nose while refusing food. Feeding therapy can also help children with complex medical diagnoses and their families.
